Overview In this role, you oversee field construction activities for major projects, ensuring work aligns with plans, schedules, and budgets. You will lead supervisors and subcontractors, coordinating crafts and resources to meet objectives while upholding safety and quality standards. Responsibilities- Direct field construction activities to meet drawings, specs, schedules, and cost estimates
- Control schedule and cost using labor, materials, tools, and equipment
- Monitor productivity and cost; implement actions to optimize labor productivity and cost-effectiveness
- Promote safety culture and integrate safety into all work
- Coordinate construction craftsmen and manage contractors/subcontractors within the area of responsibility
- Serve as the lead point of contact for site communications and interface with multiple offices and locations
- Ensure work is within approved scope and compliant with requirements
- Provide overall accountability to senior management, client, and community
Key requirements- Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in applicable field and 16 years of related experience, or 20 years if non-degreed
- Effective communication with management, colleagues, clients, and stakeholders
- Job-related technical knowledge to complete the role
