Insurance Senior Product Consultant

As an Insurance Sr. Product Consultant, you will help drive profitable growth by launching new products, pricing, and underwriting in Texas. You will collaborate with cross functional partners to translate market dynamics into actionable product moves. You'll balance growth with loss ratio discipline and lead risk and regulatory considerations. • Customize actions for Texas markets to implement new product, pricing, and underwriting for profitable growth
• Identify market dynamics and drive initiatives with partners to capitalize on insights
• Maintain loss ratio discipline while growing the assigned market
• Forecast and plan based on current and likely market conditions
• Develop risk management strategies to grow in the Independent Agency market
• Manage catastrophe and concentration risk as business expands and pricing adapts to changes
• Analyze competitors and share insights to inform initiatives
• Build competitive intelligence tools as needed
• Report on product performance and use data to optimize results
• Recommend KPIs to improve product performance tracking
• Ensure products meet customer needs and incorporate feedback
• Collaborate with underwriting, marketing, sales, IT, and operations on product initiatives
• Develop holistic solutions with senior leadership
• Ensure regulatory compliance of products
• Improve cross functional processes to boost regional team efficiency

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Actuarial, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
• 5+ years in product management, actuarial, finance, or related insurance industry roles (2+ years in Texas homeowners insurance)
• Experience across Customer segments: Preferred, Standard, Non standard
• Strong track record of successful product changes and strategic initiatives
• Deep understanding of personal lines insurance and reinsurance, including trends, regulations, and competitive landscape
• Team management experience and ability to drive cross functional teams
