Overview Senior Project Manager, Data Centers-Construction leads fast-track data center builds, coordinating scope, schedule, budget, and quality while ensuring client satisfaction. You'll mentor junior PMs and drive standardized delivery and risk resolution across engagements. Responsibilities- Lead project delivery across assigned engagements, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction
- Develop and implement solutions for risks, escalations, and execution challenges with the right resources
- Manage project planning, procurement, financials, and contract execution in fast-track or phased delivery models
- Maintain high performance across PM responsibilities
- Mentor and coordinate PMs, APMs, and project coordinators to ensure delivery consistency
- Possibly provide people management including coaching, performance management, and development
- Build and nurture relationships with clients, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple projects
- Drive alignment and resolve complex coordination, communication, escalation, and execution challenges
- Promote site safety and enforce quality and compliance standards across projects and teams
- Coordinate complex technical execution and planning activities including commissioning, shutdown planning, MOP development, and energized work
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 7+ years of project management experience in data center construction environments
- Experience leading large-scale ($50M+) technically complex projects with demanding schedules and mission-critical MEP infrastructure
- Experience coordinating contractors, vendors, and technical stakeholders in active operational environments
- Experience managing project financials, procurement activities, and contract execution across complex delivery models
- Strong knowledge of mission-critical MEP systems, critical power/cooling infrastructure, and commissioning practices
- Strong communication, coordination, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to lead projects in fast-track, high-pressure, or ambiguous environments
- Advanced proficiency with project management, scheduling, and financial management tools
- Ability to travel up to 50%
- Preferred: Professional certifications such as PE, PMP, CCM, CDCP, or DCDC; experience with design-build, EPC, or accelerated/parallelized schedules; familiarity with UPS, generators, switchgear, chillers, CRAC/CRAH, and BMS; understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and commissioning for 24/7 operations
