Overview In this role you will lead the Microsoft Purview program across the enterprise, shaping policies, controls, and governance. You will partner with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, and IT to strengthen data protection, regulatory compliance, and incident response. The position offers visible impact within a collaborative team and a focus on risk management, insider risk, and eDiscovery. You will drive automation and reporting to scale Purview capabilities in a growth-focused investment firm.
Responsibilities- Own and optimize the Microsoft Purview program including policies and controls
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, legal, compliance and IT stakeholders
- Lead data protection, regulatory compliance, insider risk and information governance
- Design and maintain sensitivity labels, data classification, and DLP policies
- Support insider risk investigations and compliance initiatives
- Administer retention policies, eDiscovery, audits, and information governance programs
- Automate reporting and administration with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API
- Partner with cybersecurity, legal, compliance, HR and IT teams
Key requirements- 5+ years of Microsoft 365 security, compliance, or data protection experience
- 3+ years hands-on Microsoft Purview administration
