Overview As a Project Manager at Caddell Construction, you lead entire construction initiatives from planning to delivery, aligning scope, budget, and schedule with client and design teams. You will direct onsite and administrative activities, ensure safety, quality, and productivity, and manage resources to meet project objectives. This role emphasizes cross functional collaboration, client relations, and rigorous cost control on government contracts. Responsibilities- Plan and direct all project activities to meet scope, budget, and schedule
- Coordinate resources and supervise on site and administrative staff
- Review and verify estimates against proposals, specs, and contract documents
- Oversee subcontractors, safety, quality, and productivity on site
- Issue change orders and manage extra work estimating
- Administer project cost tracking and forecast remaining costs
- Develop and implement an effective Safety and Health Program
- Foster strong relationships with customers and subcontractors
- Provide technical guidance on drawings, methods, and equipment
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Prepare complete plan of execution
- Travel as required
Key requirements- 5-10 years in construction, government contracts preferred
- Four year degree in engineering or construction management
- Strong leadership and written/verbal communication
- Working knowledge of Caddell processes and procedures
- Excellent organizational and client relations skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to manage safety, quality, and budgeting on projects
