Overview In this role you will lead the full lifecycle of complex MEP projects, from pursuit through closeout, ensuring safe, on-time, and profitable delivery. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to align client expectations with company objectives and manage financials, schedules, and quality. The position emphasizes MEP/HVAC expertise, prefab methods, and strong commercial acumen to drive growth. This is an on-site role with substantial travel, offering leadership influence and opportunity to shape project controls and safety culture. You will play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality, compliant projects while expanding client relationships and service offerings.

Responsibilities- Lead project lifecycle from pursuit to closeout, aligning with client expectations and company objectives
- Manage project financials including budgeting, forecasting, change management, progress billing, and senior management reporting
- Oversee MEP/HVAC and mechanical construction activities for compliance, constructability, and schedule adherence
- Drive business development, proposals, scope development, negotiations, and repeat client opportunities
- Coordinate site walkthroughs, inspections, audits, and QA to verify safety and regulatory compliance
- Develop and implement safety plans, enforce standards, and lead incident reviews
- Coordinate prefab/offsite fabrication with internal teams to optimize schedule, cost, and quality
- Set up project controls, reporting structures, resource plans, subcontractor packages, and procurement strategy
- Mentor and supervise project teams and promote professional development
- Implement risk management and construction controls to address issues proactively
- Coordinate with design, engineering, procurement, and commissioning to resolve technical issues
- Lead client and stakeholder communications, progress meetings, and executive reporting
Key requirements- 10+ years of progressive construction PM experience with MEP, mechanical, and HVAC exposure
- Experience as an owner's representative or executive overseeing multiple projects (preferred)
- P&L responsibility and strong project financial controls
- Proficiency with prefab/offsite construction methods and fabrication scheduling
- Proven business development, proposal preparation, and client negotiation experience
- Knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA or local) and safety plan development
- Experience with inspections, audits, site walkthroughs, and corrective action plans
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with project management and financial reporting software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, Procore, CMiC)
- Bachelor's degree in related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
