Overview In this role you help manage cyber and technology claims end-to-end, collaborating with internal teams, brokers, and insureds to assess coverage, reserves, and exposure. You contribute to underwriting and product improvements through a strong claims and risk perspective. You'll work across the company to reduce incidents and improve service, blending legal insight with client-focused communication. This position offers impact by shaping claims strategy and supporting a scalable underwriting engine.
Responsibilities- Evaluate coverage for claims and draft coverage letters
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve cyber incidents
- Build relationships across the company and advise underwriting and risk on claims trends
- Foster feedback loop with underwriting and security teams to improve products and automated UW engine
- Cultivate relationships with brokers and insureds to deliver excellent service
- Evaluate and manage exposure for cyber incidents and third-party litigation
- Develop strategy for handling third-party litigation for cyber and technology claims
- Report on significant claims to management
- Evaluate and proactively set reserves
- Drive continuous improvement for claims processes and UW/security feedback loop
Key requirements- 3-5 years' experience handling complex first and third party cyber, tech, and media claims
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Dedication to delivering exceptional service to customers
- Claims adjusting background and/or insurance practice experience as an attorney or a paralegal
- Legal degree required
