Overview In this role you defend complex medical malpractice and healthcare claims from early assessment through trial or resolution. You will work closely with healthcare clients and shape litigation strategy within a collaborative trial team. You lead courtroom advocacy, guide investigations and expert work, and drive cost-conscious case management. Responsibilities- Direct a docket of medical malpractice and healthcare litigation from evaluation to final outcome
- Serve as primary courtroom counsel in trials, mediations, arbitrations, and hearings
- Develop litigation strategies by coordinating investigations, discovery, and experts
- Draft, review, and argue motions and pleadings with persuasive advocacy
- Take and defend depositions and represent clients throughout litigation
- Communicate case developments and strategic recommendations to clients and stakeholders
- Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure organized, efficient case management
- Strengthen client relationships and advise healthcare providers facing legal disputes
- Mentor junior team members and promote high standards of legal service
