Overview In this role you drive ligand binding bioanalytical method development to support fast, translational clinical research. You join the Ligand Binding Assay Development group and contribute scientific expertise, innovation, and regulatory-aligned practices. You work across teams to develop robust assays, analyze data, and troubleshoot performance, shaping method capabilities and client outcomes. This position offers impact through advancing PK/PD, biomarkers, and ADA analyses in a regulated environment.
Responsibilities- Develop ligand binding assays using state-of-the-art technologies for analyzing proteins/peptides/antibodies in biological matrices
- Conduct PK/PD/biomarker/ADA assays per regulatory and quality systems
- Analyze and interpret data, generate summaries, and troubleshoot assay performance; peer-review raw data
- Collaborate across teams to meet objectives under tight timelines
- Support senior leadership in achieving business objectives through innovation and technology evaluation
- Provide technical guidance to study teams to ensure timely project completion
- Author scientific manuscripts and present findings at conferences
- Participate in client calls and visits providing technical expertise
Key requirements- Bachelor in Biochemistry, Chemistry or Biology; advanced degree preferred
- 5+ years of related scientific experience preferred
- Proven proficiency in immunoassay development (Ligand Binding assays)
- Experience in PK/PD/biomarkers/ADA assay development
- Knowledge of FDA and ICH guidelines for method validation and sample analysis
- GLP-regulated environment experience preferred
- Experience with immunoassay techniques (ELISA, MSD, Gyrolab, AlphaLISA)
- Experience using Watson LIMS preferred
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills; ability to present to diverse audiences
