Overview In this role you will lead QA/QC efforts on construction and renovation projects, ensuring compliance with quality, safety and regulatory standards. You will work with project teams to implement QA/QC plans, perform site inspections, and verify constructability and documentation accuracy. You will drive issue resolution, maintain comprehensive records, and support project reporting and closeout activities. This is a hands-on, on-site role that safeguards quality while enabling timely project delivery. You will contribute to Turner & Townsend's mission of delivering high-impact, safe projects at scale with cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities- Implement and monitor QA/QC plans across construction projects
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and reviews for quality, safety, and environmental compliance
- Review drawings and submittals for accuracy and constructability
- Support RFI and submittal processes with proper documentation
- Identify and help resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and risks
- Maintain detailed project documentation including inspection reports, meeting minutes, and compliance records
- Coordinate with contractors and project teams to adhere to QA/QC processes
- Support project reporting related to quality metrics and progress
- Assist in managing project risks related to quality, safety, and compliance
- Participate in project meetings and communicate QA/QC updates
- Review as-built documentation and assist in project closeout
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, where applicable
Key requirements- 8+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or project coordination
- Experience implementing QA/QC programs and supporting construction site operations
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and submittal processes
- Knowledge of OSHA and construction safety practices
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to communicate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
