Overview In this role, you oversee design and construction projects for healthcare, higher education, and institutional expansions, guiding them from concept through occupancy. You collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to manage scope, schedule, and budget while leading design and construction teams. The position supports complex projects with multi-million-dollar budgets, delivering on time and within plan. You'll contribute to a mission-driven firm shaping communities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities- Manage multiple healthcare, higher education, or commercial expansion/renovation projects as an Owner's Representative, focusing on approved scope, schedule, and budget
- Maintain daily client and project-team communications
- Lead the Design Team (Architects, Engineers, Equipment Planner, and consultants)
- Provide day-to-day project oversight and client/team coordination
- Prepare and distribute meeting notes to the project team
- Lead the Construction Team on behalf of the owner
- Develop, track, forecast, and adjust the project schedule and budget across all phases
- Review contracts, invoices, and payments to contractors, consultants, and equipment vendors
- Prepare Monthly Reports to Owner
- Assist in plan reviews and inspections with Authorities Having Jurisdiction
- Negotiate contracts and assist with move/occupancy activities
- Review and approve invoices and change orders
- Evaluate and help resolve disputes and claims
- Typically reports to project executive or principal
Key requirements- Project Management experience in buildings sector (healthcare, commercial, higher education)
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external clients and field subcontractors
- Strong computer skills in scheduling, word processing, presentations, and spreadsheets
- Budget management experience or use of budget software
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Understanding of design and construction processes and requirements
- Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Strong leadership and team-driving capabilities
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with good driving record
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management or related field
- Minimum 5 years of related project management experience, including 2+ years as Owner's Representative/Project Manager
