Overview As Loss Control Manager, you will lead Starr's Loss Control team to elevate risk consulting services for the U.S. Construction Casualty portfolio, balancing client needs with resource allocation. You will mentor professionals, manage large accounts, and establish consistent service processes and metrics. You will partner with underwriters and profit center leaders to showcase Starr's capabilities and attend key client meetings. You will drive service excellence and continuous improvement to deliver measurable risk reduction and profitability.

Responsibilities- Manage service accounts and act as the primary escalation point for service issues
- Lead and mentor risk consulting loss control professionals
- Establish consistent service delivery processes, metrics, and best practices
- Oversee quality and efficiency of loss control services for new business and renewal accounts
- Partner with underwriters and profit center leaders to demonstrate service capabilities
- Attend client meetings to strengthen relationships and reinforce Starr's value proposition
- Monitor loss development and deploy resources to maintain profitability and key account retention
- Support governance, training, and development within the team
Key requirements- 10-15 years of Loss Control experience
- Proven people management and leadership experience
- Experience managing large, complex accounts
- Broad industry knowledge across multiple casualty lines
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Vendor management experience a plus
- Knowledge of IoT and AI technologies in risk management a plus
