Senior Architectural Job Captain: Healthcare

As Senior Job Captain, you will lead the production of architectural drawings for inpatient and ambulatory care projects and coordinate consultants from site survey to contract documents, providing construction administration. You will ensure compliance with NYC and NYS codes, DOH, NFPA, and FGI guidelines, while maintaining strong documentation and organization. You'll collaborate with clients and cross disciplinary teams to drive quality and efficiency. This role offers a chance to shape healthcare facilities in a respected firm with regional offices, leveraging your CAD/BIM expertise and regulatory know how. You will contribute to delivering robust, code compliant healthcare environments.

• Salary range: $90K-$130K
• Full-time schedule
• 4 days in office + 1 remote day
• New York office or Long Island office
• Direct hire

• Assist in DOB and DOH code review and building analysis
• Produce architectural drawings from schematic design through construction documents
• Coordinate documents with other consultants and interface with clients
• Review and markup architectural drawings
• Respond to RFIs during GC bidding and construction administration
• Review and process shop drawings and submittals; participate in field reports
• Attend construction administration meetings and document field progress

• 10+ years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects
• Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
• Strong knowledge of NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA, NFPA 2012 Healthcare, FGI 2018 Guidelines
