Overview As Global Statistical Lead for Solid Tumor Oncology, you drive the end-to-end quantitative strategy across development stages for a tumor indication. You lead a cross-functional QSEG team to ensure scientific excellence and integrated analytics. You collaborate with regulatory and payer groups to shape evidence generation and submissions. You champion innovative designs, including Bayesian and adaptive methods, to accelerate decision making. Your work directly supports patient impact through data-driven development and access strategies.

Responsibilities- Serve as the compound-level statistical lead for solid tumor oncology across development stages
- Develop and align integrated statistical strategies for various study types including RWE, PV statistics, and post-marketing
- Lead cross-functional statistical contributions and ensure consistency across studies and evidence types
- Represent statistical perspectives in global regulatory interactions and HTA dossiers
- Advance methodological innovation using Bayesian designs, adaptive trials, external controls, and AI/ML tools
- Mentor and develop statistics and analytics talent across QSEG
- Contribute to governance initiatives, standardization, and internal methodology forums
Key requirements- Advanced degree in Oncology, Life Sciences, or related field with minimum 8 years of pharma R&D or scientific partnering experience
- Strong oncology drug discovery and translational science knowledge
- Proven ability to engage scientific leadership and navigate early-stage biotech ecosystems
- Excellent communication and ability to translate complex science into strategic insights
- Experience with academic liaison, external innovation, or strategic scouting in pharma/biotech or venture ecosystems
- Familiarity with CI platforms and academic/biotech databases; strong oncology network
- Experience in competitive intelligence and innovation strategy within oncology
- Digital literacy with landscape analytics and conference tracking tools
- Experience with cross-functional global teams in matrix environments
- Proficiency in statistical software (SAS, R) and familiarity with simulation tools
