Sr. Project Manager - MEP Construction

Overview

In this role you drive MEP project delivery, overseeing time, cost, risk and scope in collaboration with stakeholders. You lead the team from design through handover, ensuring on-programme, on-cost and on-quality outcomes for complex data-center projects. You proactively manage utilities, governance and reporting, shaping project controls and communication with the Employer and main Contractors. This position offers exposure to high-stakes, cross-disciplinary delivery in a global firm with a strong focus on performance and client outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee MEP project management from design to handover
  • Lead cost planning, procurement, design and construction management
  • Ensure on-programme, on-cost and on-quality delivery
  • Manage utilities coordination and stakeholder communications
  • Set up project controls and reporting (cost, schedule, risk)
  • Track cost, programme and quality; issue monthly progress reports and pay recommendations
  • Maintain weekly photographic progress records
  • Prepare Employer and stakeholder presentations for milestones
  • Support business development with project information for prospective customers
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Key requirements
  • Degree qualifications in construction management, electrical or mechanical engineering or similar function
  • Minimum 5 years' experience on major data center projects with MEP coordination
  • Experience with project management concepts, tools and techniques
  • Ability to coordinate with concurrent base building works
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Primavera P6 or MS-Office (incl MS-Project)
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines
  • Professional skill in project management and ongoing development in PM trends
  • Fluent in spoken and written English; other languages a plus
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future
