Overview As Division Manager, you will oversee permitting, construction, purchasing, and customer relations to ensure homes are built on time, within quality and safety standards. You will lead a cross-functional team, coordinate with regional leadership, and drive performance through reporting, training, and process improvements. You will manage subcontractors, staff development, and customer satisfaction to support the division's growth and the company mission of More Home, Less Money. This role offers the opportunity to shape operational excellence across a high-volume production homebuilding environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain preconstruction timelines to enable on-time starts for each purchase
- Generate and review division performance reports and identify improvement opportunities
- Conduct weekly neighborhood and home inspections for quality, safety, cleanliness, and schedule adherence
- Hold regular meetings with division staff to ensure accurate and timely home closings
- Recruit, develop, and retain staff aligned with the division's strategic plan
- Train and onboard new hires; lead monthly safety and technical training sessions
- Ensure timely delivery of building permits prior to lot close
- Support Regional Sales Managers with recruiting and training of sales staff as needed
- Allocate subcontractors to meet schedule, quality, and safety requirements
- Close out outstanding customer service requests promptly while maintaining high customer service levels
- Manage construction time, quality, budget/variance control, and documentation timeliness
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent certification, accreditation, or job experience
- Minimum 7 years in construction, preferably production homebuilding
