Overview In this role you lead building enclosure commissioning and consulting within Intertek's Building Science Solutions. You will build and mentor the local BSS team while growing client relationships and pursuing project work. You'll manage diverse projects, review technical deliverables, and contribute to strategic growth of the Cleveland office. The position combines hands-on field work, design coordination, and client-facing leadership to improve new and existing building performance.

Responsibilities- Lead building enclosure commissioning projects and deliverables
- Train staff in BECx processes and requirements
- Provide enclosure consulting, commissioning, and design/construction phase services
- Conduct investigations and develop remedial repair designs for existing buildings
- Prepare project proposals and professional deliverables
- Support profitability targets and business development in local area
- Mentor and hire/train team members; manage workloads and staffing
- Represent department in client engagements and larger pursuits outside local area
- Participate in professional organizations and technical committees
Key requirements- 5+ years in Building Enclosure consulting / industry with project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering (or 10+ years' experience in lieu)
- Excellent understanding of enclosure systems and construction
- Ability to travel up to 25%
- Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Ability to manage small to large projects and coordinate multiple teams
