Overview Intertek seeks a Building Enclosure Senior Project Manager to lead and grow the Building Science Solutions practice in Seattle. You will manage project teams, develop client relationships, and contribute technically to building enclosure consulting, commissioning, and field testing for new and retrofit projects. This role blends project leadership with hands-on technical work to ensure quality and performance. Responsibilities- Lead building enclosure commissioning projects and impart BECx training to staff
- Provide enclosure consulting, commissioning, and design/construction phase services for new projects
- Conduct enclosure investigations and assessments for existing buildings; design remedial repairs as needed
- Prepare proposals and deliverables (reports, design reviews, etc.)
- Mentor staff and assist in hiring/training building sciences team members
- Support department manager in developing local business and client relationships; contribute to national pursuits
- Grow the local BSS office by balancing workloads and securing new work
- Engage in professional organizations and disseminate technical work through papers/conferences
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Architectural Engineering and 7+ years' experience in Building Enclosure consulting / industry
- OR 10+ years' experience in Building Enclosure consulting / industry in lieu of the bachelor's degree
- Excellent technical understanding of building enclosure systems and construction
- Experience in managing a range of small to large projects
- Building Enclosure Project management experience
- Ability to perform office tasks and physical labor tasks (e.g. ladders, lifts, scaffolds)
- Excellent organizational and project management skills
- Strong technical writing and communication skills
- Travel up to 25% outside local area; valid driver's license and acceptable MVR
- Strong communication with clients and project teams
