Overview

As a senior engineering leader in Carollo's water practice, you will guide design, rehabilitation, and construction of water, wastewater, and reuse facilities. You'll prepare technical deliverables, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor staff while developing key client relationships. Your work will span medium to large projects, from planning through construction, helping clients meet water-quality and sustainability goals. Responsibilities
  • Design, rehabilitation, and/or construction of water, wastewater, and reuse treatment facilities
  • Prepare reports, plans, specifications, and cost estimates; support permitting and alternative analyses
  • Develop technical memoranda and deliverables; conduct data analysis and support construction phase
  • Plan and execute engineering work on medium to large, moderately complex projects
  • Manage budgets, schedules, contractual obligations, and quality standards
  • Collaborate with supervisors and team leaders; train and monitor internal staff
  • Make independent, authoritative technical decisions
  • Develop and maintain client relationships and support client management interaction
  • Identify and direct subconsultants; contribute to proposals and business development
  • Participate in professional associations and disseminate technical work
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering
  • 10+ years in the water industry with at least 5 years of project management experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration
  • Experience in design and construction phases of water/wastewater projects with budget, schedule, and quality accountability
  • Experience in facilities planning, process modeling, condition assessment, and CIP development
  • Strong verbal and written communication; ability to engage clients and project teams
