Overview

In this role you will design, implement, administer, and continuously improve Voltava's global benefits programs, focusing on health & welfare and retirement plans. You will lead benefits design and operations across a large, potentially unionized workforce, partnering with HR and leadership to ensure compliant, cost-effective programs. You will manage vendor relationships, drive data-driven insights, and support organizational growth and integration efforts. Your work will enable a competitive, people-centered benefits experience that supports our global teams. This role offers the opportunity to shape benefits strategy at scale and contribute to Voltava's mission of Building A Better Every

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and continuously improve global health & welfare and retirement programs
  • Administer benefits programs at scale for 3,000+ employees and CBAs
  • Lead and develop direct reports in benefits administration
  • Manage regulatory compliance (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, local equivalents)
  • Oversee broker, carrier, and vendor relationships including contract negotiation
  • Perform benefits cost analysis, benchmarking, and reporting
  • Translate complex benefits information for employees across all levels
Key requirements
  • 10+ years of progressive benefits experience in global or multi-national settings
  • Deep knowledge of health & welfare and retirement plan design
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Strong regulatory knowledge (ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA)
  • Experience managing broker/carrier/vendor relationships and contracts
  • Experience managing benefits programs at scale (3,000+ employees) and with CBAs
  • Strong analytical, benchmarking, and reporting skills
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to translate complex benefits for employees
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent)
