Overview

As a People Partner at Walmart Transportation, you will help build and sustain high-performing teams while enriching the associate experience in a fast-moving facility. You will partner with facility leadership to lead staffing, development, training, associate relations, and performance processes, shaping people programs as the new Region 4 operation grows. You will use data and strong collaboration to identify trends, solve problems, and drive improvements. This role offers a chance to influence culture and leadership capability at scale within a startup-like transportation environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead staffing, talent development, training, associate relations, and performance management within the operation
  • Coach leaders and identify development opportunities to strengthen leadership capability
  • Use data and attention to detail to identify trends, solve problems, and improve People processes
  • Help establish scalable routines, standards, and programs for a growing transportation facility
  • Partner with facility leadership to build a strong associate experience and culture
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field with 2 years HR Generalist experience or equivalent Walmart HR roles (e.g., supervising, mentoring, staffing, payroll)
  • Experience leading HR/People processes in a fast-paced operational environment
  • Proven ability to develop leaders and build engaged, high-performing teams
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to influence, communicate effectively, and build trusted partnerships across frontline and leadership teams
