Overview

In this role, you will lead Gilead's Global Executive Recruiting function, partnering with senior business leaders to attract top executive talent and elevate recruiting as a strategic COE. You'll set direction, build a high-performing team, and drive best practices across a global, matrixed organization. You will shape the employment brand and develop pipelines in collaboration with diversity, sourcing, and HR leaders. This position blends strategic influence with hands-on leadership in a world-class life sciences company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the Global Executive Recruiting function and partner with Sourcing, Business Leaders, and HRBP community
  • Set strategic direction for the executive recruiting function and drive continuous improvement of the COE
  • Lead and develop a high-caliber team to meet current and future business needs
  • Collaborate with other HR COEs to deliver customized recruitment strategies
  • Act as the global stakeholder manager for external executive search partners
  • Support development/evolution of the Gilead employment brand for executive audiences
  • Create and drive executive talent pipelines with Inclusion & Diversity COE, Sourcing, HR and business leaders
Key requirements
  • Master's degree with 12+ years of recruiting experience including people leadership at scale OR Bachelor's degree with 14+ years of recruiting experience including people leadership at scale
  • 8+ years managing multifunction and multilocation talent acquisition in a highly matrixed organization (preferred in biopharma)
  • 5+ years executive recruiting experience with demonstrated results (preferred in life sciences)
  • Experience leading executive recruiting at a global company and strong business partnering skills
  • Excellent learning agility and emotional intelligence
  • Commitment to diversity recruitment and inclusive leadership
  • Ability to translate business objectives into TA priorities and influence senior executives
