Overview

In this role you will lead day-to-day operations of a coastal ambulatory surgery center, partnering with physicians and governing boards to drive quality, financial performance and patient experience. You will bridge facility leadership, medical staff, and USPI Home Office to ensure compliant, efficient operations. You'll own budgets, staffing, and performance dashboards while advancing quality initiatives and service-line opportunities. This is a hands-on, accountability-driven leadership position at a physician-led ASC platform. You will play a pivotal role in sustaining sustainable performance and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead daily facility operations across administrative, clinical, and business functions
  • Serve as liaison between Governing Board, Medical Staff, facility leadership, and USPI Home Office
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards
  • Develop and manage operating, staffing, and capital budgets
  • Monitor financial performance and address operational risks
  • Oversee staffing, employee performance management, and workforce planning
  • Support physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff coordination
  • Manage vendor, service, and physician contracts
  • Support quality improvement, infection control, and patient experience initiatives
  • Participate in operational reviews and facility performance reporting
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvement
Key requirements
  • Bachelor or equivalent
  • Minimum of three years of senior administrative or healthcare management experience
  • Experience with budgeting and achieving financial goals in a healthcare leadership role
  • Experience working with physicians and clinical leadership
  • ASC leadership experience or hospital surgical leadership with ASC exposure
  • Mobility to move throughout the facility as needed
