Overview As Principal Engineer / Scientist at Arcadis, you will serve as the Licensed Site Professional (LSP) of record for Massachusetts Waste Sites and lead site investigation and remediation efforts for ongoing and upcoming projects. You will guide multi-disciplinary teams, prepare investigation plans, remedial designs, and cost estimates, and review technical deliverables with clients and regulators. You will mentor junior staff and contribute to business development while upholding regulatory standards. Responsibilities- Serve as LSP-of-record for Massachusetts Waste Sites for existing Arcadis clients
- Lead the preparation of investigation work plans, remedial designs, cost estimates, and other deliverables
- Lead written document preparation and provide senior-level review for technical content and quality
- Manage multidisciplinary teams, project scopes, schedules, budgets, and communications with clients and regulators
- Provide mentoring and training to junior engineers and scientists
- Support business development including client meetings and proposal development
- Act as SME for regulatory interpretation, assessment and remediation
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology or related field
- Active Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional certification
- 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting with MA market
