Overview

As an HR Business Partner II, you support designated regions by delivering core HR services across recruitment, employee relations, training, and policy compliance. You work closely with local partners and senior HR management to align people programs with business needs. You'll influence performance management, onboarding, and succession initiatives in a collaborative, growth-focused environment. This role sits in an established construction-focused organization that values people-first leadership and continuous development. Responsibilities
  • Investigate and resolve day-to-day employee relations issues with guidance to management
  • Manage College Hiring and Intern Programs and support graduate hiring goals
  • Participate in recruitment process and advise management on hiring decisions
  • Support workforce planning through staffing meetings and data updates
  • Provide guidance on wages and salaries within Salary Planning Process
  • Champion and coordinate the annual performance appraisal process
  • Organize and conduct new hire orientation
  • Conduct exit interviews and extract lessons learned
  • Coordinate and participate in Succession Planning
  • Contribute to HR Strategic plan initiatives and monitor employment law updates
Key requirements
  • BS or MS degree in HR or related field; or equivalent experience
  • 3 years minimum HRBP experience; 5-8 years HR experience or 7 years HR experience as alternatives
  • International Business Partner experience
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred but not required
  • Strong problem solving, communication, and project management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS software
