Overview In this role you will support a liquid waste contractor at Savannah River Site, contributing to environmental management and engineering projects. You will work within an Engagement Team to deliver time-and-material services, focusing on piping construction and technical general support. Expect to handle hands-on construction tasks, data gathering, and design-related data analysis to ensure quality and milestones. This opportunity offers exposure to federal-leaning projects and a chance to influence critical infrastructure at a DOE Site.

Responsibilities- Support T&M engagement requirements for environmental and energy-focused projects
- Contribute to piping construction tasks and equipment layout per diagrams
- Perform tests, data collection, and data presentation/analysis
- Assist in design modifications by compiling specifications and materials data
- Extract and organize engineering data from field notes and reports
- Ensure work is thorough, compliant, and delivered on schedule
Key requirements- Consecutive employment in a similar role within the past five years
- U.S. Citizenship
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to travel occasionally and meet security/baseline requirements
- Security clearance eligibility considerations (DOE Top Secret/DOE Q) and e-Verify participation
- Experience with environment and energy-related engineering tasks is implied by role
