Overview In this role, you lead a civil engineering segment to align with the company's strategic goals while supporting business development and client engagement. You'll guide opportunities assessment, leverage new technologies, and optimize resource use to deliver reliable infrastructure solutions for military bases. You'll shape technical standards, supervise engineers, and drive performance and compliance across complex civil projects in a contingency environment. This position offers impact by enhancing base infrastructure and mission readiness at international sites.
Responsibilities- Lead study, design, and services for transportation and civil infrastructure (roads, bridges, drainage, water/wastewater, tunnels)
- Supervise engineers and set technical standards for a team
- Manage performance appraisal and personnel decisions within the discipline
- Develop and manage staff and budget for assigned assets
- Ensure DoD installation-level working experience and compliance with inspections and audits
- Support business development by identifying opportunities and coordinating resources
- Prepare data for awards submissions and recognition programs
- Contribute to strategic planning and execution across projects and opportunities
Key requirements- US Citizenship
- U.S. Secret Clearance
- Bachelor in Engineering (ABET-accredited) or Architecture, or approved equivalent
- Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA)
- DoD installation-level working experience
- Eight years' experience in design, construction, inspection, and preparation of plans for major real property facilities (four years in supervision)
