Overview

In this role you lead the Finance KM and innovation agenda, partnering with practice leadership to deliver measurable impact through AI-driven solutions and cross-border collaboration. You translate finance-law insight into practical, tech-enabled workflows and knowledge resources, shaping how the practice uses technology to increase efficiency. You will mentor, coordinate with global teams, and act as a KM ambassador within the Finance practice. This position blends strategic finance law expertise with innovative use of AI to support clients and the firm's strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Formulate and regularly update the Finance KM and innovation plan in collaboration with leadership
  • Serve as primary contact for Finance practice to capture and translate ideas into tech-enabled solutions
  • Develop Finance-specific AI workflows, prompts, playbooks, and knowledge assets
  • Advise on AI tool selection for workflows and matter stages
  • Design and execute KM projects improving efficiency and AI adoption
  • Curate Finance forms, precedents, and knowledge assets
  • Deliver KM and innovation training for Finance attorneys and clients
  • Monitor finance-related trends and identify opportunities for thought leadership
  • Coordinate with international colleagues on cross-border Finance projects
  • Enhance collaboration across Finance lawyers, offices, and jurisdictions
  • Act as KM Team ambassador within Finance and collaborate with IT/Innovation, SDD, OGC, BD/Marketing, and international teams
  • Interface with senior leadership on KM strategy and resource allocation
  • Perform additional duties as required
Key requirements
  • 10+ years in Finance Law with substantive KM and legal practice innovation experience
  • Bar admission in relevant jurisdiction
  • Strong knowledge of Finance law workflows (fund, private and hybrid capital, debt market financings)
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills
  • Experience with AI platforms and legal technology for workflow development
  • Ability to translate practice needs into AI-enabled solutions
