Overview In this role you lead nonclinical toxicology studies for regulatory submissions at our Chicago site. You will oversee study design, data interpretation, and reporting, ensuring GLP compliance and high-quality outcomes for clients. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams and study direction staff to advance IND-enabling work. This position offers exposure to a range of toxicology studies and a path to influence regulatory science within a global CRO. Responsibilities- Lead regulatory and exploratory toxicology studies, including design, protocol development, data evaluation, and reporting in GLP contexts
- Stay current with safety/toxicology study designs and techniques
- Prepare study methodologies and SOPs as needed
- Provide expert consultations to clients on IND-enabling toxicology studies
- Coordinate with management, technical staff, and clients to direct studies
Key requirements- PhD in toxicology or related field (DABT preferred but not required)
- Relevant experience can substitute for degree; Masters with 2+ years; Bachelor of Science with 5+ years
- Ability to manage multiple projects across disciplines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thorough understanding of GLP regulatory requirements and toxicology testing guidelines
- Knowledge of SOPs and IACUC requirements
- Demonstrated leadership and client interaction skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and standard laboratory calculations
