Senior Development Analyst

Overview

In this role you will support the growth and execution of development and acquisition opportunities across multiple asset classes. You will work with regional offices, legal, and executive leadership on modeling, underwriting, and capital strategies to drive projects from inception to exit or operations. You will prepare materials for investors and lenders and help optimize due diligence and asset management processes. This position offers exposure to a broad range of property types and a chance to influence financing decisions and value creation.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial models for development and credit analysis
  • Underwrite and evaluate deals across property types (medical office, multifamily, hotel, industrial, mission critical, land, and alternatives)
  • Create offering memoranda for debt and equity and prepare information memoranda for investors and lenders
  • Support due diligence from pre-development to disposition, including legal and asset management
  • Conduct analysis to inform financing strategies and capital raising
  • Collaborate with development staff, legal, and executive team to improve processes and communication
Key requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in real estate, finance or related field
  • Minimum two years' progressive experience in commercial real estate
  • Experience in structuring and documentation of transactions
  • Experience with underwriting and due diligence
  • Advanced financial modeling skills
  • Strong underwriting and property valuation knowledge (DCF, submarket forecasting, comps)
  • Solid CRE credit background and capital markets experience
  • Proven ability to develop and nurture long-term relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-starter with ability to multi-task and adapt to change
  • Ability to work with diverse teams and backgrounds
