Overview As Statistical Programmer, you develop, validate, and maintain statistical programs for clinical, operational, or research data. You work closely with statisticians, data managers, and clinical teams to deliver high-quality, reproducible outputs that meet industry and regulatory standards. The role supports data cleaning, analysis workflow design, and documentation to ensure compliant, transparent results. You will join the Rahway Animal Health team and contribute to global R&D initiatives with SAS, R, and data-driven analysis. Responsibilities- Develop and validate statistical programs using SAS and R
- Create analysis datasets, tables, listings, and figures (TLFs) per study requirements
- Support data cleaning, transformation, and quality control processes
- Review protocols and data specs to understand programming needs
- Perform validation checks and ensure regulatory/compliance standards
- Collaborate with statisticians, data managers, project managers, clinical and regulatory teams
- Troubleshoot programming issues to support timelines
- Maintain documentation of code and processes
- Contribute to process improvements and standardization of repetitive tasks
- Participate in study team activities
Key requirements- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
- At least 5 years of statistical programming in pharma, biotech, or CRO
- Strong proficiency in SAS, R, and Excel
- Understanding of data structures, statistical methods, and analysis workflows
- Experience of leading programming activities
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (CVM/EMA/USDA)
- Familiarity with Electronic Data Capture Systems (Prelude and/or Medrio) preferred
