Overview

As a Workday Architect at Sweetwater, you will serve as the Workday subject matter expert and primary contact for daily support of Workday processes, integrations, reporting, and configuration. You will ensure data privacy, security, and governance across Financials and HCM, while collaborating with IT and business partners to translate needs into system requirements. You'll lead reporting, dashboards, and documentation to support operations and decision-making, and drive system upgrades and optimizations. This role offers impact by shaping and maintaining a scalable Workday landscape aligned with business goals.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the Workday Architect and owner of security, integrations, and related platforms
  • Ensure data privacy and security compliance for financial data within Workday
  • Translate business needs into Workday system requirements with stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and documentation to support operations
  • Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to test, deploy, and maintain system updates
  • Review upgrade documentation and ensure processes function post-upgrade
  • Manage test environments and vet changes before production
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity in Workday Financials or HCM through audits and data analysis
  • Provide training and support to users and promote continuous education
  • Lead Workday IT projects and participate in cross-functional initiatives
  • Respond to complex issues, implement improvements, and optimize functionality
  • Share insights on current Workday capabilities and propose enhancements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Key requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in Workday Finance and/or HCM
  • Strong knowledge of Workday architecture
  • Experience with Workday Implementations, Stabilization, and Optimization
  • Strong understanding of Workday Integrations and Securities in enterprise environments
  • Workday Pro certification in Finance, HCM, Securities, Integrations, or other modules (strongly preferred)
  • Proficiency in Workday security and role-based permissions management
  • Excellent communication skills with experience interfacing, training, and presenting to multiple levels
  • Experience with Workday integrations, including web services, EIBs, and connectors
  • General knowledge of data security and consumer privacy standards
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
