Responsibilities- Lead or contribute to research programs in autonomous systems
- Design, prototype, test, and demonstrate solutions to complex problems
- Interact with customers to understand needs and present research results
- Develop proposals addressing customer needs and lead execution of research programs
- Provide leadership and vision to a multidisciplinary team
- Develop software prototypes to validate technical concepts
- Collaborate with diverse technical backgrounds to drive innovation
Key requirements- PhD in Computer Science or related area
- 7+ years of experience in AI, cybersecurity, and autonomous systems
- Hands-on development experience with state-of-the-art AI technologies and tools (e.g., transformers, deep neural networks)
- Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to quickly acquire new subject matter areas
- Experience in business development and writing winning DoD/IC government proposals (a plus)
- Experience leading DARPA or similar projects as PI (a plus)
- US Citizenship with ability to obtain/maintain a Secret or higher clearance
