Overview In this role you will supervise on-site construction across multiple projects, ensuring timely and quality delivery. You work with the field team, subcontractors, and owners to keep projects on schedule and aligned with safety and technical standards. You shape project outcomes from planning through turnover, addressing issues with urgency and cross-functional collaboration. Responsibilities- Supervise field construction team and subcontractors; coordinate start-up, turnover, and project close-out
- Maintain and manage CPM schedule; plan material and tool needs to avoid delays
- Enforce safety procedures and participate in ongoing safety training
- Review drawings, specs, and submittals; lead pre-job conferences and subcontractor meetings
- Ensure quality control by setting standards and monitoring execution
- Prepare reports (time sheets, work orders, daily reports, invoices) and manage documentation
- Recruit, train, and direct field personnel; oversee multiple projects across geographies
- Coordinate with Owner and Architect to maintain confidence and project alignment
- Handle procurement and logistics to minimize crises; report progress and issues to management
- Travel as required by management; perform duties as needed in exigent circumstances
- Complete other responsibilities as assigned
- Perform site testing, turnover to Owner, and final close-out documentation
Key requirements- Engineering, Construction Management, or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience (4 years as Assistant Superintendent)
- Extensive field construction supervisory experience
- Current Safety Trained Supervisor (STS) Certification or obtainable within 6 months
- Reading and understanding specifications for all trades; experience as foreman or journeyman
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control
- Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency
- Ability to supervise multiple projects over a large geographic area
