Overview In this role you guide and grow a team of building consultants within the South Technical Services division, focusing on facility assessments, maintenance planning, and capital planning to improve building efficiency and lifespan. You will partner with sales, support project delivery, and serve as a technical lead on energy efficiency and operations initiatives. Responsibilities- Lead project planning and delivery for facility operations, energy efficiency, and commissioning initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and QA/QC oversight across Technical Services offerings
- Support business development through technical expertise in client meetings, pricing, and scope management
- Review and optimize internal processes and tools to improve efficiency and quality
- Train junior engineers on building operations, HVAC design/operation, and energy conservation measures
- Possibly assume people management responsibilities in the future
Key requirements- Engineering/STEM degree or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in facility operations and/or HVAC systems
- Experience presenting to clients and decision-makers
- Ability to read construction documents (drawings, specs, controls sequences)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience with Building Automation Systems preferred
- Credentials in engineering or building management preferred (PE, FMP, CFM, LEED AP)
