Overview In this role you oversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives across EPC/CM projects. You will coordinate with the EPC/PM teams, manage client relations, and lead planning, risk reviews, and contract administration to deliver on project goals. You shape project execution through staffing, procurement, and documentation, while guiding teams and subcontractors toward efficient, compliant delivery. This position offers impact in risk management, field oversight, and cross-functional collaboration on complex construction programs.
Responsibilities- Oversee day-to-day construction activities and project execution for one or multiple projects
- Develop and implement project plans including schedule, staffing, procurement, QA/QC, and safety plans
- Negotiate and manage contracts, subcontracts, change orders, and invoicing
- Coordinate RFPs, bidder development, prequalification, and subcontractor selection
- Monitor project budgeting, cash flow, reporting, and cost control; provide status updates to management
- Maintain client relationships and manage communications, proposals, and project-related items
- Ensure permits, insurance, licensing, bonding, and compliance across projects
- Direct document control, RFIs, submittals, change management, and contract closeout
- Mentor staff, provide training, and manage staffing plans for project teams
- Coordinate with engineering for deliverables and ensure alignment with project schedule
- Support risk reviews, safety performance, and quality assurance programs
- Oversee turnover, warranty administration, and project closeout processes
Key requirements- Bachelor in Construction
- 7 years of relevant project management experience in construction
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)
- Experience with document control, scheduling, cost control, and project management software
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong organizational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in aviation, commercial, energy, government, manufacturing, oil & gas, process, transportation, or water construction is preferred
- Basic understanding of GAAP
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving requirements
