Senior Architectural Job Captain: Healthcare

Senior Job Captain to lead architectural production for inpatient and ambulatory care projects. You will manage drawing production, consultant coordination, and construction administration to support compliant, deliverable contract documents. You'll interface with clients and consultants, ensuring code compliance and accurate documentation. The role offers growth in a collaborative, detail-focused environment shaping healthcare facilities in NYC/Long Island.

• Full-time schedule
• 4 days in office + 1 remote day

• Lead the production of the architectural set of drawings from schematic design through construction documents
• Coordinate architectural documents with other consultants
• Review and markup architectural documents
• Assist in DOB and DOH code review and building analysis
• Respond to RFIs during GC bidding and construction phases
• Review and process shop drawings and submittals
• Attend construction administration meetings and write field reports
• Interface with clients and consultants
• Manage project documentation and coordination from survey of sites to contract completion

• Minimum of 10 years of continuous project documentation experience in ambulatory care and inpatient projects
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and Bluebeam
• Strong understanding of NYC and NYS Building Codes, ADA compliance, NFPA 2012 for Healthcare, and FGI 2018 Guidelines
• Experience with filing strategies and base building infrastructure
• Ability to lead production of drawings and coordinate with consultants
• Experience with construction administration and responding to RFIs
