Overview

In this role you will shape the tech direction to meet data governance and business needs. You will design scalable IT architecture spanning processes, data, applications, and technology, partnering with Data Steward and Director to translate requirements into robust solutions. You'll ensure cross-system compatibility and define architecture blueprints and standards for a firm-wide environment. You'll also prepare data assets for AI/ML use cases, balancing innovation with reliable and scalable data pipelines.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop IT architecture across processes, data, applications, and technology to solve business problems.
  • Assess compatibility and integration of proposed standards to maintain a unified architecture across platforms.
  • Lead technical planning, architecture development, and specification modification for hardware/software compatibility.
  • Define policies, standards, and architecture blueprints to govern technology solutions.
  • Conceptualize system interfaces and prototypes; identify and resolve design weaknesses for downstream use cases.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies, develop migration plans, and select options that fit business needs.
  • Prepare data assets for AI/ML readiness, ensuring scalable, reliable data pipelines and architectures
Key requirements
  • Bachelor in Computer Science
  • 10+ years of IT/data architecture experience
  • Proficiency with enterprise architecture frameworks and tools
  • SQL, databases, data lakes/warehouses
  • cloud platforms and systems integration methodologies
  • Snowflake (required)
  • Matillion and DBT (plus)
  • Strong problem solving and broad, strategic thinking
  • Independent with ability to lead teams or projects and contribute to strategy
