Overview In this Construction Project Manager role at Flow, you will oversee a broad range of development projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Responsibilities- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and specialty consultants to define scope and feasibility
- Negotiate contracts with external vendors to meet budgets
- Identify permits/licenses needed and obtain approvals from authorities
- Determine resources (manpower, equipment, materials) within budget
- Plan construction operations and schedule phases to meet deadlines
- Manage logistics for materials, furniture, and equipment and monitor stock levels
- Hire qualified and licensed contractors and allocate responsibilities
- Supervise laborers and provide guidance
- Evaluate progress and prepare reports on budget, schedules, variances, and risks
- Ensure health and safety compliance and report issues
- Communicate project status and impact to residents and building staff
- Perform field inspections and report progress
- Collaborate with other teams to address operational concerns
- Manage multiple concurrent projects across cities
- Coordinate internal reviews, maintain logs, and organize workflow
- Prepare presentations and provide weekly status updates
- Travel and onsite supervision 40-50% of the time
Key requirements- 5+ years of relevant experience and multi-site management
- Working knowledge of code requirements for multi-family projects
- Deep understanding of construction procedures and project management principles
- Familiarity with quality and health & safety standards
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- Team player with leadership capabilities
- Proficiency in Google and Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel)
- Knowledge of MS Project or similar tools, Adobe Suite, Bluebeam, SketchUp is a plus
