Overview As a Market People Partner, you will lead people transformation and organizational planning for a geographically diverse associate base, building trust with teammates and business leaders. You will influence talent development and ensure effective workforce strategies across multiple stores. You'll drive scheduling, recruitment, and talent pipelines to boost retention and performance, contributing to Walmart's people-first culture. This role offers a chance to shape workforce experiences at scale and partner with cross-functional teams to implement impactful HR programs.

Responsibilities- Lead hourly and salaried Workforce Management programs and initiatives, aligning with business plans and training resources
- Drive Schedule Right execution to improve associate experience, retention, and performance by analyzing scheduling data
- Manage talent acquisition strategy for assigned stores, sourcing candidates, interviewing coordination, and job offers
- Oversee talent pipelines and succession planning, identify gaps, leverage data to inform development and progression
- Lead talent review activities (quarterly conversations, calibration, annual reviews) and feed insights into planning
- Evaluate effectiveness of workforce and talent plans, solicit feedback, and drive efficiency and cost improvements
- Supervise and develop associates, provide coaching, performance evaluations, and rewards
- Promote company policies and ethics, support Open Door Policy, ensure compliance
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration and manage multiple business plans and projects with contingency planning
- Foster a team-based environment and support continuous learning and leadership development
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field and 2 years' HR Generalist/Specialist experience in a multi-unit environment OR 3 years Walmart management experience with 2 years supervising salaried managers
