Overview In this role you will guide the Fulfillment Center HR function to enable strong performance, engagement, and development. You will partner with line managers to address employee relations and drive leadership capability. You'll own onboarding, training, and data-driven initiatives to improve retention and experience. You'll lead compensation and benefits coordination, safety efforts, and policy updates, shaping a proactive, supportive HR environment in a fast-paced facility.
Responsibilities- Lead team responsible for performance management, employee engagement and talent development
- Address employee relations issues with balanced representation of parties
- Provide management mentorship to build leadership capabilities
- Own orientation and onboarding; assist with training as needed
- Analyze data to identify trends and improve performance, retention, and employee experience
- Facilitate and implement compensation programs based on local market data
- Coordinate workers' compensation program and work with plant management to reduce injuries and near misses
- Handle benefits administration
- Develop/update job descriptions, rules, procedures and policies
- Participate in facility safety and accident investigations and safety meetings
Key requirements- 5+ years in an HR partnership role in a fulfillment or distribution center or similar environment
- 2+ years leading an HR team
- Proven track record of strategic partnerships to improve HR experience
- Excellent written, verbal, public presentation/communication skills and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and self-initiative
- Ability to influence and partner with different levels of the organization
- Ability to work efficiently with a variety of personnel
- Strong employee relations background
