Overview In this role you will lead FTZ operations at the Atlanta site, ensuring compliant, efficient trade zone practices that support RTX growth. You work with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and sustain regulatory excellence. You will drive audits, risk mitigation, and staff development to strengthen the company's global trade capabilities. Responsibilities- Oversee Atlanta FTZ site operations including customs documentation, accounting, reconciliation, and waste management
- Ensure compliance with US import/export regulations (ITAR, EAR, FTR, CBP) with support from the central Customs team; prepare for audits and internal reviews
- Collaborate with IT, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve FTZ processes and test relevant software or system updates
- Identify compliance risks, propose mitigations, and drive corrective actions
- Deliver FTZ training across departments; mentor staff and contribute to a Community of Practice
- Partner with central Customs and other departments on trade compliance initiatives, audits, and strategic improvement projects
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience OR an Advanced degree with 5+ years of experience
- 5+ years in US import compliance operations and/or supply chain management
- 5+ years of FTZ or US Customs compliance operations or other trade compliance regulations (ITAR, EAR, FTR)
