Overview As a Senior People Business Partner, you partner with leaders to translate business needs into practical people solutions that enable scale and performance. You will operate autonomously, provide strategic guidance, and mentor junior HRBPs while shaping cross functional people programs. The role sits at the intersection of business growth and people strategy within a renowned AI/finance environment. You help unlock team effectiveness and navigate multi region HR practices to support ambitious objectives.

Responsibilities- Provide thoughtful, pragmatic HR guidance to executives, managers, and staff
- Lead day-to-day HRBP support for designated business areas with sound judgment on escalation
- Collaborate with People team and leaders to implement initiatives that boost engagement and performance
- Execute talent and performance management processes, including talent reviews and calibrations
- Coach managers to strengthen feedback, performance management, and team leadership
- Support organizational design and change efforts as teams scale
- Serve as a resource on employee relations, policies, and compliance (CA/NY laws)
- Mentor junior HRBPs and promote consistency in operations
- Partner with the broader People team to deliver aligned programs
- Act as a strategic business partner to drive growth and effective people solutions
Key requirements- 5+ years of HR Business Partner experience supporting senior leaders
- Experience in both scaling and established organizations
- Strong knowledge of core HRBP disciplines (performance management, employee relations, leadership coaching)
- Ability to work independently with sound judgment on escalation or alignment
- Experience mentoring more junior HRBPs
- Practical, solutions oriented with decisive decision making skills
- Solid knowledge of California employment laws
- Experience supporting global teams across regions
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or equivalent experience
- Preferred: experience in tech or fintech
