Responsibilities- Direct and coordinate trade contractors to ensure quality and schedule adherence
- Supervise and develop the project team
- Manage general conditions and site services budget
- Develop and communicate field work plans and changes
- Lead site walks with owners, architects/engineers, and lenders to report progress
- Maintain contract documents understanding to anticipate problems
- Ensure permits and inspections are completed with AHJ
- Serve as primary safety representative and drive safety culture
- Develop safety strategies and oversee safety performance
- Coordinate and manage jobsite logistics and material needs
- Develop and oversee the QIC plan with Operations Excellence
- Mentor junior team members and lead superintendent peer group
- Participate in business development and preconstruction needs
- Lead or delegate daily huddles and stretch/flex activities
- Lead ground-up construction with foundation experience
- Engage with the local community and support sales strategies to optimize margins
- Oversee project reporting accuracy and communicate schedule status
- Support career development and coaching of team members

Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management
- 15+ years of experience on commercial/industrial construction projects ($50M-$100M+ or multiple projects) in a lead superintendent role
- OSHA 30-hour certified
- STS-C Certification
- First Aid/CPR/AED/Stop the Bleed training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong technical and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to participate in sales processes and interviews
- Team leadership capability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and industry-standard construction software tools
- Construction-document and drawing literacy; familiarity with Pull Planning Process
- Experience across all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control
- Knowledge of construction safety and ability to enforce safety plans
- Ability to lead large project teams and manage labor relations
- Willingness to relocate and travel as needed
