Overview In this role you act as Amazon's owner's representative, leading the construction lifecycle for regional facilities and infrastructure to support the logistics network. You will coordinate with developers, engineers, and authorities to deliver new builds, retrofits, and expansions while aligning with internal teams responsible for equipment, turnover, and operations. Responsibilities- Serve as Amazon's owner's representative and primary construction integrator across assigned projects
- Manage multiple concurrent projects from design through handover
- Review contractor bid packages, budgets, and schedules; resolve discrepancies
- Own budget tracking, cashflow forecasting, and cost management
- Negotiate construction, procurement, and labor contracts
- Audit contractor performance for skills and resources
- Coordinate with AHJ for permitting and regulatory approvals
- Ensure conformance to Amazon building specs and standards
- Identify and resolve design conflicts and coordination gaps
- Coach project teams and internal stakeholders throughout the lifecycle
- Champion safety programs and enforce a safety-first culture
- Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Assess project performance using KPIs for safety, quality, cost, schedule, sustainability
- Partner with turnover and facility readiness teams
- Identify value engineering opportunities with internal partners
- Seek sustainable, environmentally responsible solutions
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years in AutoCAD and/or BIM, and scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, or similar)
- 5+ years as Architect, Engineer, Construction Manager, or related role
- 5+ years of project management from design through handover
- 5+ years negotiating construction, procurement, and/or labor contracts
- Preferred: experience in General Contracting, Owner's Representation, Commercial Development, Engineering & Design
- Strong communication with senior leadership, public officials, vendors, and operations
- Facilities management experience including planning, design review, implementation, and project controls
