Overview As Commissioning Project Manager, you will lead commissioning for capital projects from design to post-occupancy, driving operational readiness and excellence. You'll oversee cross-functional teams across life sciences, semiconductors, and other mission-critical sectors, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget. The role combines project leadership with a focus on safety, quality, and client satisfaction. You'll shape how commissioning is executed, aligning with client needs and CAI standards.

Responsibilities- Lead planning, execution, and delivery of the commissioning process for capital projects within scope, schedule, and budget
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocations, risk assessments, and communications strategies
- Coordinate and manage the commissioning team and liaise with engineers, construction managers, design engineers, technicians, and clients
- Monitor performance, identify risks, troubleshoot, and implement solutions to ensure successful commissioning
- Track and report deliverables, milestones, and financial performance to leadership and clients
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, design, safety regulations, and best practices
- Facilitate project meetings and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams
- Serve as primary liaison between client and internal teams to drive customer satisfaction
Key requirements- Bachelor's degree in Facilities/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or related field
- 5-10+ years of experience in commissioning processes
- Proven PM experience for commissioning in capital construction, life sciences, semiconductors, or similar industries
- Strong knowledge of commissioning processes and project management methodologies
- Proficiency in creating and managing schedules, budgets, and documentation
- Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel to project sites, including out-of-state
