Responsibilities- Perform basic architectural/engineering calculations
- Prepare specifications, reports and data tables
- Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups
- Prepare, review, and approve drawings
- Independently perform advanced technical assignments within schedules and budgets
- Coordinate technical/administrative activities with other disciplines and departments
- Assist in training and evaluation of junior personnel
- Review and approve conceptual designs
- Develop new architectural methods and techniques
Key requirements- BA/BS in Architecture plus four (4) years of relevant experience, or equivalent
- Licensed as a registered architect or progress toward licensure (OH preferred)
- Knowledge of building systems and materials
- Knowledge of local building codes
- Ability to produce design intent renderings and concept diagrams
- Excellent communication with peers, clients and contractors
- Team player mindset
- Ability to mentor junior team members
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Highly proficient in 3D modeling software: Revit, SketchUp and/or Rhino
- Construction administration and permitting experience
