Overview In this role, you lead trust administration across our nationwide offices, directing a team of Regional Managers to ensure compliant, efficient management of trusts and related accounts. You shape service delivery, align operations with divisional goals, and oversee complex fiduciary matters and regulatory compliance. You interface with clients, beneficiaries, attorneys, and staff to uphold high standards of risk management and client service. Responsibilities- Manage Regional Managers and staff to meet divisional strategy
- Oversee workload balance for trust account administrators across the footprint
- Conduct performance appraisals and hiring decisions
- Assist with largest and most complex trust accounts
- Coordinate with clients, co-trustees, beneficiaries, and attorneys on trust establishment and operation
- Ensure tax liabilities and obligations are met within the national footprint
- Analyze new trust opportunities and assign duties accordingly
- Establish and revise service delivery for trust services
- Guide Regions in providing fiduciary discretion and committee input
- Maintain trust policies and procedures and stay current on regulatory developments
- Interface with Compliance, Risk and Audit to resolve issues
- Serve as initial point of contact for bank channel managers on mutual client requests
- Champion process improvements in administrative matters
- Ensure quality controls and monitor risk and compliance outcomes
- Contribute to a client-first culture in all trust activities
Key requirements- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years in trust administration with broad trust types experience
- CTFA, JD, or equivalent
- Ability to travel 50% of the time
- Knowledge of personal trust laws and regulations and state tax implications
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
