Project Architect/Project Manager (Architect) - Healthcare

Overview

As a Project Architect at Beck Group, you lead technical project delivery within a collaborative, design-forward team. You'll guide documentation, detailing, and coordination with PMs, consultants, and the construction team to ensure quality, constructability, and compliance. You'll leverage advanced BIM tools to shape building skins and systems in alignment with project budgets and schedules. This role offers impactful work on diverse projects and opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to Beck's reputation for design and construction excellence. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated project delivery outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead project team through documentation, modeling, quality control, and consultant coordination
  • Perform ongoing document quality control reviews
  • Lead building systems selection, evaluation, and detailing
  • Collaborate with Project Manager to follow client and internal budgets and establish project plan, milestones, and staffing
  • Coordinate with Project Manager and Construction Team on cost estimates, sequencing, and constructability
  • Research specific building systems and develop building skin details and interior building systems coordination
  • Assist with developing project manuals; apply codes (zoning, life safety, accessibility, energy)
  • Resolve technical issues on project; lead and/or delegate construction administration
  • Support internal continuing education sessions and lessons learned initiatives
  • Mentor and train younger staff to promote team capability
  • Work with Project Designer to realize the design vision
Key requirements
  • 8+ years of relevant architecture experience
  • NAAB-accredited degree (College graduate)
  • Professional registration
  • Ability to travel or co-location as needed
  • Proficient in developing building skin details and systems coordination
  • Strong collaboration with Project Manager, Construction Team, and Consultants
