Overview

As an HR Specialist at Sephora's Las Vegas DC, you drive the employee life cycle support and partner with leaders to streamline processes. You will manage leave, benefits, data integrity, and compliance while contributing to onboarding and engagement initiatives. The role supports a fast-paced distribution center, ensuring confidential handling and best-practice HR processes. You will work with a collaborative HR team to enable a positive, compliant, and high-performing work environment. Responsibilities
  • Leave administration and workers' compensation coordination
  • Audit and manage HR data, generate regular and on-demand reports
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and post-employment screening processes
  • Provide general HR support, respond to policy and benefits inquiries
  • Assist with onboarding, new hire orientation, payroll support, and timekeeping inquiries
  • Support employee engagement programs and internal communications
  • Process employee changes (movements, terminations) and maintain data accuracy
  • Handle unemployment claims documentation and follow-up
  • Maintain knowledge of HR trends and regulatory changes to inform policies
Key requirements
  • 2+ years of HR experience in a distribution center or manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS (Dayforce and SharePoint) or ability to quickly learn
  • Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
  • Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting
